Grief Recovery

You don't have to be “over it.”

You are allowed to grieve what mattered.

Grief can come from death, divorce, the end of a relationship, a change in health, a lost dream, or simply realizing that life didn't turn out the way you thought it would.

You don't have to figure this out alone.

When Life Looks Different Now

Sometimes the loss is only the beginning of what we're grieving.

When we lose someone or something important, we often lose much more than the obvious.

The routines we shared
The plans we made
The role we once had
The sense of security we once felt
The conversations we thought we'd still have
The future we thought was waiting for us
What Is Grief?

Grief is not only about death.

Grief is the normal and natural emotional response to loss of any kind.

Sometimes the loss is obvious—the death of someone we love, a divorce, the end of a relationship, or a major change in our health.

But grief can also come from something less visible: unmet hopes, dreams, and expectations.

We enter relationships and seasons of life carrying expectations about how things are supposed to unfold. When reality becomes different from what we hoped, dreamed, planned, or expected, there can be a very real sense of loss.

Sometimes grief isn't only mourning what was.
It's mourning what you thought would be.

You may be grieving...

I thought we would grow old together.

I thought my marriage would last.

I thought my children would remain close.

I thought retirement would look different.

I thought I would have more time.

I thought my life would look like this by now.

You may be grieving not only what happened, but also what didn't happen. The future you pictured. The relationship you hoped for. The apology you never received. The dream that didn't come true.

Pause & Reflect

What are you carrying that you haven't given yourself permission to grieve?

All of it deserves acknowledgment.

A Trained Approach to Grief Recovery

You don't have to carry unfinished grief alone.

As a Certified Grief Recovery Specialist through The Grief Recovery Institute, I provide a compassionate, structured space to help you acknowledge what was lost, explore what may still feel unfinished, and take meaningful steps toward healing.

There may be things you wish had been different, better, or more. Words you wanted to say. An apology you never received. A relationship that wasn't what you hoped it would be. Or conversations you thought you would still have time to have.

Acknowledge

Recognize the full range of losses connected to what happened—not only the most obvious one.

Express

Give language to emotions, regrets, hopes, disappointments, and things that may have remained unsaid.

Make Room

Begin making room for love, memory, hope, and life to coexist with what you've lost.

Healing Doesn't Mean Forgetting

You don't have to leave love behind to begin living again.

Healing isn't erasing the people, relationships, dreams, or experiences that shaped us. It is allowing the pain surrounding the loss to change so that love, memory, gratitude, and even joy can have more room again.

You can miss what was and still be curious about what might be.
When You're Ready

You don't need to know what healing looks like yet.

You only need a safe place to begin.

If you've experienced a loss and something inside you knows there is still grief that needs your attention, we can start with a conversation. There is no pressure to tell your entire story. There is no timeline.

☕ Come as you are. We can begin right where you are.

Grief may be part of your story.

It doesn’t have to write the rest of it.
